My motto is that life is too short for wimpy napkins. It's an indulgence perhaps, to spend a little more on a quality paper napkin, but I loathe those silly one-ply jumbo packed things. Which generally you need more than one or two or ten for a meal so I question the saving of money AND the planet!
Use a good strong napkin. If you don't dirty it, save it for your next meal (keep it personal though)
I like these or the luncheon size. Go ahead - YOU are worth it!

Of course there are times when one simply must use a cloth napkin, but doubtful for everyday - so it's a toss up ecologically speaking when one considers the laundering of cloth.

I was helping to put together an event in a little, tiny village where large amounts of products were not available. At almost the last minute we discovered that local stores did not have and could not get in time these dinner napkins. We had almost 300 people coming for a fundraising dinner, and these came on time, in great packaging, and were excellent. Wonderful product and great supplier.
