Bounty Basic Regular Roll, White, 12-Count (Pack of 2)

I ordered this product because Amazon listed its subscribe and save price as $18.74 and 78 cents per count. Now at all the stores, the count is per 100 count of sheets, this is so you can compare different size rolls as Bounty has a confusing array of sizes (see below), from 52 sheets up to 130 sheets per roll (7 different sizes in all).

For this product Amazon has computed the cost per count based on the number of rolls in the package but not on the number of sheets per roll (which Amazon doesn't tell you).

What is being sold here is 24 regular rolls at 52 sheets/roll. That works out to $1.50 per 100 sheets and not the78 cents per 100 sheets I assumed. I generally get a much better price on sale at Target/Walmart.

I like Bounty Basic paper towels. I have no desire to pay top dollar for fancy prints. We use a lot of paper towels in our house with two children and I like having a lower cost option that is still a good quality paper towel. These paper towels are only one ply and they are plain white but they get the job done just the same. I was able to save a little bit of money with the subscribe and save discount. Before you purchase I would compare the current price to the price at your local store because the price changes all the time. Sometimes the price is good and other times it is not. Every once in a while they will have a special promo code that you can enter and save a little extra money.

These paper towels work well to clean up messes, but this price is way too high. I didn't realized it until I bought them, but the next day I saw a 12-pack at Home Depot for $8.75. That puts these at almost double the price, and even with S&S, they are still way to expensive.
